There's a difference between a mistake and a calculated and planned decision to make a bad decision. You can have every intention of doing the right thing, but somehow in the heat of the moment, you make the mistake. That's ok. That's acceptable. How you recover and respond becomes important. However, if you've chosen and planned ahead of time to make that bad decision, and it was well thought out and executed, that's another story. I often tell my audience to BE YOU on social media, and don't fall into the trap and be someone that you are not. Social media makes it easy to hide behind posts and to become a different person.
Someone once asked me, "But what if you just aren't a nice person?" My response, "Well that's a whole different discussion altogether."
